There are many styles of barbecue available here in the "Barbecue Capital of the World," and likewise, there are many styles of carpeting. Some are more formal and some are more casual. Some are softer and some are meant to be more rugged. Whatever your taste may be, we at Deitz Flooring Design have a style for you.

Commonly, when people think of carpet, they think of a twist or a plush. These are made in a wide variety of colors and with a wide variety of fibers. They are designed to give you that warm, soft feel underfoot that can ease away the tensions of the day. Perhaps you like the style of plush, but you would like something a little more formal. Then there are saxonies, which are made to give you that velvety look usually associated with a formal rug. Perhaps you are looking to put a plush in a very high-traffic area of your home, like a family room. You might consider a frieze, which is constructed much like a plush, yet the fibers are more tightly twisted together to provide a more durable but also relaxed design.

Another option is Berber. This is a loop-pile flooring, similar to that of a commercial rug, yet with taller loops to provide that soft, residential feel. If you like the Berber but want something a little more formal, there are patterned designs as well as designs that blend the loop of a Berber with the cut pile of a Saxony to create an elegant design in the flooring.
